Affiliate disclosure
The calculators and guides on this site are free. These are the ways it can make me money, so you can weigh what you read here.
GP Locum, the app I built
I built GP Locum, an app and website for the admin side of locum work. It is free to use, with a paid GP Locum Pro subscription and a paid new locum starter plan. Pages on this site link to it, and where a guide compares it with other options, the guide says it is mine.
NASGP
I am a NASGP ambassador. If you join NASGP through my link, I may earn a commission. Joining through my link doesn’t change what you pay. I don’t work for NASGP or speak for it.
How affiliate links are marked
- Every affiliate link has this label beside it: “Affiliate link: I may earn a commission if you join through it.”
- It is marked as a sponsored link for search engines, and opens in a new tab.
- It appears at most once on a page, and only on pages about finding work, setting your rate or starting out as a locum. It never appears on the invoice generator, the pension forms tool, the pension calculators and guides, or the Making Tax Digital guide.
What doesn’t change
Where a guide compares options, it includes ones that earn me nothing, such as a spreadsheet or an accountant, and providers I have no relationship with. Every fact is taken from the provider’s own pages or an official source, with the date it was checked. Where a provider doesn’t say, the guide says “not confirmed” rather than guessing.
What is counted
When someone clicks an affiliate link, the site counts the click and the page it was on, using the same cookie-free analytics as the rest of the site. Nothing about you is recorded or passed on. Once you are on NASGP’s site, its own privacy policy applies. The privacy policy has the detail.
